After you place your order, our team will verify your company and order information. Once everything is confirmed, you will receive a license activation email directly from Crowdstrike, usually within 48 hours, which will guide you through the necessary steps to activate your licenses. Please allow for longer activation times
To install CrowdStrike on a Windows machine, follow these steps:
  • Obtain the CrowdStrike installer for Windows from Crowdstrike customer portal by navigating to ‘Sensor Downloads’ page
  • At the top of that page you will see your Customer ID Checksum. This is your license key needed for activation, please keep this private.
  • Save the installer file to your computer (or the computer you will be installing it on)
  • Locate the saved installer file and double-click on it to run the installation process.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  • Once the installation is complete, the CrowdStrike agent will automatically start running in the background, protecting your system.
Please note that administrator privileges may be required to install the software.

Yes, Crowdstrike provides a variety of free training and instructional resources to help customers get the most out of their products. These resources include webinars, online courses, video tutorials, and documentation, which cover a wide range of topics, from product overviews to advanced features and best practices. You can access these resources through the Crowdstrike documentation or support portals once you have activated your account. Additionally, Crowdstrike periodically hosts live events and conferences that may also offer educational opportunities.

To configure CrowdStrike prevention policies, follow these steps:
  • Log in to the CrowdStrike Falcon Platform using your credentials.
  • Navigate to the "Configuration" app in the top menu.
  • Click on "Prevention Policies" in the left-hand menu.
  • You will see a list of existing prevention policies. You can either edit an existing policy or create a new one by clicking the "+ Create Policy" button.
  • When creating or editing a policy, provide a name and description for the policy. You will need to do this for Windows, Mac and Linux separately.
  • Configure the policy settings according to your security requirements. You can enable or disable various prevention features, such as machine learning, behavioral protection, and exploit blocking. We recommend that you click the link for “Recommended Settings” towards the top of the page for all three operating system types.
  • Scroll down to the "Policy Assignments" section to assign the policy to specific groups of devices. You can use the search bar to find groups or create new groups as needed.
  • Once you have configured the policy settings and assignments, click "Save" to apply the changes.
The policy will now be active and applied to the assigned device groups. The CrowdStrike Falcon agent on those devices will automatically update to enforce the new prevention policy.
